STAR 100
Art.-Nr : A02095STAR 100 has been especially developed for mechanical cleaning as a water-based, low-foaming cleaner. It removes oils, greases, and dust from steel, stainless steel, and synthetic materials, leaving virtually no residues.

Product Details
STAR 100 has been especially developed for mechanical cleaning as a water-based, salt-free, low-foaming (from 40°C/104°F) cleaner. The highly concentrated alkaline cleaner is perfect for the residue-free removal of oils, greases and dust from steel, stainless steel, synthetic materials or other alkali-resistant surfaces. It is completely free from inorganic ingredients and volatile organic compounds (VOC-free).
STAR 100 can be used in:
- Ultrasonic devices
- Hot-water parts washers
- Line- or multi-chamber systems
- Conveyor plants
- Spraying units
- Flooding plants
- Pressure washers
- Immersion systems
Efficient
Thanks to its demulsifying properties, long bath lives can be achieved because the dissolved oil can be eliminated by means of an oil separator.
The high concentration of active ingredients facilitates dilution with water of up to 1:200, with typical concentrations between 3 and 5%. You can use normal water but also demineralized, distilled or deionized water.
We will be happy to provide you with titration regulations and –curves for determining the concentration.
The optimal cleaning temperature is 60°C/140°F.

Particular consideration was given to cleaning before and after surface finishing processes, such as hardening and gas nitriding.

Tips & Hints
If necessary, rinse the surface with water. To determine the concentration of the cleaner in the bath, we provide titration instructions and titration curves. Do not use on aluminium and other sensitive surfaces. Carry out a compatibility test before use.
