Remove oil, grease, soot and protein from steel, iron, cast iron and plastic parts, and keep the cleaning bath in the process longer through oil separation. STAR 200 is a highly concentrated alkaline pre- and intermediate cleaner for industrial applications that is effective even at room temperature.
Due to its demulsifying properties, oils introduced into the bath are not permanently bound within it. When used in conjunction with a suitable oil separator, the removed oils can be taken out of the process. This helps extend the bath’s service life and enables the cleaning medium to be recirculated.
The high concentration of active ingredients allows for dilution with water up to a ratio of 1:100. Typical application concentrations range from 3 to 5%. This allows the concentration to be adjusted according to the degree of contamination and the cleaning process.
STAR 200 was developed as a low-temperature cleaner and can be used at room temperature. The cleaner is VOC-free and phosphate-free. The surfactants it contains are biodegradable in accordance with OECD guidelines.
