Degrease surfaces and prepare them directly for painting, bonding or coating
Removes moderate oil and grease contamination as well as machining residues, leaving surfaces virtually residue-free and ready for the next stage of the process. FT 200 is particularly suitable for pre-cleaning prior to painting, bonding, labelling or coating, and combines rapid evaporation with temporary corrosion protection.
The cleaner removes moderate oil and grease contamination, dust, fingerprints, abrasion marks, grinding dust, release agents and adhesive residues. FT 200 can be used on stainless steel, steel, tiles, plastic and galvanised surfaces.
Thanks to its rapid evaporation, cleaned surfaces remain damp for only a short time. At the same time, FT 200 leaves virtually no residue or streaks. This means that components can be quickly prepared for subsequent production and processing steps after cleaning.
The corrosion inhibitors it contains provide temporary corrosion protection for suitable metal surfaces. This is particularly helpful when temporary storage is required between cleaning and further processing.
FT 200 is exempt from labelling requirements under the CLP Regulation, has reduced VOC content and is phosphate-free. The product meets the biodegradability requirements of the Detergents Regulation and is NSF-certified. This makes it suitable for relevant cleaning applications in the food industry.
FT 200 can be used as an alternative to solvents, cold cleaners and nitro thinners in typical applications.
