Thoroughly remove heavy oil and grease contamination, adhesive residues and machining residues, and prepare surfaces for the next stages of work with virtually no residue. The FT 400 is the most powerful cleaner in the FT range and is particularly suitable for the manual cleaning of soiled engines, machinery and components.
FT 400 removes heavy oil and grease contamination, dust, fingerprints, abrasion marks, grinding dust, release agents and adhesive residues. Pigment-based paints, label residues, fresh paint residues and polymer quenching agents on components following hardening processes can also be removed with this cleaner.
This ready-to-use cleaner is suitable for stainless steel, steel, tiles, plastic and galvanised surfaces. Its virtually residue- and streak-free cleaning action facilitates the preparation of surfaces for subsequent work and processing steps. To use, simply spray FT 400 onto the surface and then wipe it off.
Corrosion inhibitors contained in the product also provide temporary corrosion protection on suitable metal surfaces. FT 400 is exempt from labelling requirements under the CLP Regulation, has a pH value of 11.4 and a VOC content of 32.8 per cent. The product is non-flammable and is suitable as an alternative to conventional solvent-based cleaners.
