Product details

Description

Efficient extension of the service life of water-based process baths!

The Parallel Plate Separator (PPT) Compact is the ideal solution for increasing demands on the purity and service life of water-based cleaning and degreasing baths, cutting coolant emulsions, and other industrial fluids.

The device automatically and effectively removes oil, sludge, suspended solids, and solids from moving and warm process baths during plant operations. This protects employees from unpleasant odors and contamination by preventing uninhibited bacterial growth.

The PPT works on the basis of a combined effect of gravity and coalescence, without the use of chemical additives. This technology makes it possible to achieve very low residual concentrations of the secondary phase at the outlet. Solids are guided to the bottom of the device by the effect of gravity.

All the advantages of the Parallel Plate Separator Compact:

  • Effective cleaning: Automatically and effectively removes oil, sludge, suspended solids, and solids.
  • Longer service life: Extends the service life of cleaning and degreasing baths.
  • Employee protection: Prevents unpleasant odors and contamination by reducing bacterial growth.
  • Economical and environmentally friendly: Works without chemical additives, thus saving costs.
  • Customizable: Equipped with magnetic centrifugal or compressed air diaphragm pumps and a suction device.
  • Combined effect: Uses gravity and coalescence for effective separation without chemical additives.
  • Solid removal: Solids are guided to the bottom of the device by gravity.
  • Compact design: Space-saving design for easy integration into existing systems.

FAQs

What applications is the compact plate phase separator (PPT) suitable for?
The compact PPT is suitable for cleaning aqueous cleaning and degreasing baths, cutting coolant emulsions, and other industrial fluids in order to extend their service life.
How does the PPT Compact work?
The PPT Compact works through a combination of gravity and coalescence. Oil, sludge, suspended solids, and solids are separated without the use of chemical additives. Solids sink to the bottom of the device.
What advantages does the PPT Compact offer employees?
The PPT prevents unpleasant odors and contamination by reducing uncontrolled bacterial growth. This protects employees from stressful working environments.
Can the PPT Compact work without chemical additives?
Yes, the PPT works completely without chemical additives, making it both gentle and economical.
How does the PPT Compact help to extend the service life of process baths?
The PPT effectively removes contaminants such as oil, sludge, and suspended solids, keeping process baths clean and functional for longer.
What pump options are available for the PPT Compact?
The PPT Compact can be equipped with magnetic centrifugal or compressed air diaphragm pumps as well as a suction device to meet individual requirements.
How space-saving is the PPT Compact?
Thanks to its compact design, the PPT can be easily integrated into existing systems without taking up much space.
How are solids removed from the process bath?
Solids are guided to the bottom of the device by gravity and collected there, effectively separating them from the process bath.
What residual concentrations of the secondary phase can be achieved?
Through the combined effect of gravity and coalescence, the PPT achieves very low residual concentrations of the secondary phase at the outlet.
