Machine-clean hardened oils and greases and extend the life of the cleaning bath
Dissolves oil encrustations as well as hardened greases and oils from alkali-resistant components and effectively removes deposited contaminants from the cleaning process. STAR 300 is a highly concentrated, highly alkaline machine cleaner designed for demanding industrial degreasing processes.
The cleaner is suitable for steel, stainless steel, plastic and other alkali-resistant surfaces. With a pH of approximately 14, STAR 300 is designed for heavy oil- and grease-based contaminants and is effective at concentrations as low as 0.5%.
Due to its demulsifying properties, the cleaned-off oils and greases are not permanently bound in the cleaning bath. They can be separated using a suitable plate-type phase separator and removed from the process. This helps extend the service life of the cleaning bath and reduces the need for bath changes.
A cleaning temperature of approximately 60 °C is recommended for maximum cleaning performance. Concentration and temperature can thus be specifically adjusted to meet the demands of challenging mechanical degreasing processes.
STAR 300 is phosphate-free, solvent-free, and VOC-free. The surfactants it contains are biodegradable in accordance with OECD guidelines.
