PROLAQ L 300 is a high-performance, water-based and label-free cleaning agent for removing printing inks. It has been specially developed for applications in the printing industry, such as screen printing, and can be optimally combined with selected PROLAQ parts washing devices and parts washers. Depending on the cleaning system, the concentrate is used either diluted or undiluted.

Water-based cleaning agent for printing inks
PROLAQ L 300 has been specially developed for the removal of printing inks. It is primarily designed for fresh printing inks from applications such as screen printing and other areas of the printing industry. Even dried-on printing inks can be removed – depending on the type of ink, the degree of soiling and the contact time. A longer contact time or pre-treatment may be required for particularly stubborn residues.
The water-based, label-free formulation offers an alternative to traditional solvent-based or highly corrosive cleaning methods.
In heated cleaning systems, PROLAQ L 300 is used as a concentrate at a concentration of 30 to a maximum of 50 %. Unlike many traditional solvent-based methods, this allows for hot cleaning.
In suitable heated immersion or ultrasonic applications, temperatures of up to 70 °C are possible at a concentration of 30 to 50 %, provided the system used is fitted with the necessary safety shut-off. For cold applications without a heating facility, PROLAQ L 300 is used undiluted at a 100 % application concentration.
The cleaning agent is suitable for use on, amongst other materials, steel, stainless steel, aluminium and non-ferrous metals.

Important application instructions
PROLAQ L 300 must not be heated when undiluted. At an application concentration of 30 to 50 %, the cleaning agent may be heated to a maximum of 70 °C in suitable systems. If the product is also sprayed, a maximum temperature of 60 °C and a spray pressure of 4 bar apply. A material compatibility test is required in advance for plastics, seals, painted and galvanised surfaces. Safety information: Contains benzyl alcohol. May cause allergic reactions. How can I remove printing ink?

How can I remove screen printing ink?
PROLAQ L 300 has been developed, amongst other things, for screen printing applications. It dissolves printing ink from suitable metallic components and can be used, for example, in PROLAQ parts washers, suitable immersion baths or certain parts washing devices.
How can I remove dried-on printing ink?
Even dried-on screen printing ink can be removed with PROLAQ L 300. Compared to fresh ink, this may require a longer exposure time or suitable pre-treatment. The result depends, amongst other things, on the type of ink used and the degree of soiling.
Is PROLAQ L 300 a paint stripper?

Can printing ink be removed without using traditional solvents?

Can PROLAQ L 300 be heated?
Yes, but only when diluted and within the specified operating limits. At a concentration of 30 to 50 %, a maximum temperature of 70 °C is permitted in suitable immersion systems. When sprayed, the maximum temperature is 60 °C and the maximum pressure is 4 bar. The product must not be heated when undiluted.
Can PROLAQ L 300 be used in an ultrasonic bath?
The cleaning agent can be used in a suitable, heated ultrasonic or immersion system at an application concentration of 30 to 50 %. The temperature must not exceed 70 °C, and the system must be fitted with an appropriate safety shut-off. Not all ultrasonic units meet this requirement.
Which materials can be cleaned with PROLAQ L 300?
PROLAQ L 300 is suitable for steel, stainless steel, aluminium, and non-ferrous metals. For plastics, seals, painted and galvanised surfaces, compatibility should be tested on an inconspicuous area before cleaning.
Is PROLAQ L 300 subject to labelling requirements?
PROLAQ L 300 is not subject to labelling requirements. However, the product contains benzyl alcohol, which may cause allergic reactions. The information in the safety data sheet and the instructions for use must be observed.
What concentration is recommended for PROLAQ L 300?
In heated, approved systems, the cleaner is used at a concentration of 30 to a maximum of 50 %. For cold applications where heating is not possible, it is used undiluted at 100 %.
